Attendees at this session will engage in culturally responsive instructional strategies for use with K-8 ELL learners and leave with an increased awareness of how to design and deliver more effective instruction in health education for these students. Participants will be involved experientially throughout the session with assorted research-based pedagogical approaches aimed to assist ELLs to grasp content better. (CEU) (CHES)
