This session presents guidelines for the design and implementation of deliberate practice tasks that lead to the achievement of grade level outcomes from the revised K-12 National Standards in PE. This is an active participation session with a focus on implementation of deliberate practice tasks that incorporate concepts from motor learning to ensure student achievement of National Standards. Attendees will be given the tools to design appropriate deliberate practice tasks that lead to skill acquisition. (CEU)
