Physical education teachers will gain practical, applicable knowledge of the importance of adventure based education for their population and how to assess the activities in regards to National Standards. The goal of this program is to show a distinctive educational experience that affects their learning. The emphasis is on minimal teacher input while encouraging both the internal decision making and external locus of control for the student to respond appropriately to the various activities. (CEU)
