Changes to Local School Wellness Policy requirements are designed to engage a broader group of stakeholders in their development, strengthen implementation, and require public reporting of progress. Learn about these changes and explore new standards-based nutrition education curricula (for grades K-8) from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Participants will get a first look at Team Nutrition’s new Popular Event Ideas Booklet (April 2014) containing how-to information and examples of school-wide events promoting nutrition and physical activity.
