Strength is physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. This presentation by Jim Loehr, world-renowned performance psychologist and co-founder of the Human Performance Institute, will focus on the critical role movement plays in multi-dimensional strength and well-being. This session will also include an interview with Erica Mills, AAHPERD member and heart defect survivor. Diagnosed at birth with a life-threatening heart defect, Erica is now a college senior earning dual degrees in Kinesiology and Communication. She is a passionate advocate for the connection between physical activity and heart health. Erica’s story exemplifies the importance of AAHPERD’s work with the American Heart Association to ensure that America’s future generations lead long, physically active, and heart-healthy lives.
