414 Celebrating Native American Dance

Dance movement, and the energy associated with it, extend the joy of relaxation and release a passion for self-expression. This session will demonstrate and include participation in Native American Dance. It will provide participants with several Native American dances that can be taught to elementary students studying Native American Culture. The dances are simple in design for students to learn and perform at a Pow Wow Celebration at the end of the unit. This session is intended for dance lovers of all ages to enhance curriculum offerings at their respective school setting.
