Research has demonstrated that transformational leaders are effective at creating positive work and learning environments. Concerned with an organization’s values, ethics, standards, and long-term goals; transformational leadership involves assessing followers’ motives, satisfying needs, and treating individuals as human beings. They accomplish this using a variety of mechanisms. This session examines how to build and maintain positive work and learning environments with shareholders involved in an educational program or organization using the concept of transformational leadership.
