The purpose of this presentation is to share emerging issues and realities of the cultural –environmental duality crossroads on obesity among diverse immigrants and refugees in United States of America. It will also share some examples of best practices as well as suggestions on collaborative culturally and environmentally sensitive approaches that can help reduce obesity and enhance the quality of health among newly arrived diverse immigrant and refugee communities.
