The challenges of teaching physical education in today’s society include fostering the skill development of all students. This presentation will focus on students who are less-skilled and require a positive learning environment that is based on success and enjoyment. The presentation will address teaching strategies that focus on the use of small-sided games, games of cooperation, high active learning time, moderate to vigorous physical activity, homogeneous/heterogeneous grouping, class homework, and connecting to the community.
