Dance may not seem suitable to online instruction, but it must forge into new modalities of higher education. Explore dynamics of implementing an online university level arts and humanities course in dance. Details are based on doctoral dissertation research conducted at Idaho State University to determine if a technology-based dance humanities course was comparable to traditional face-to-face delivery and how students perceived it as quality instruction. Presenter: 2012 University National Dance Educator of the Year. Computers are not provided/required for this session, but attendees may bring their own devices (wireless internet available for $14.95).
