Although mobile devices are part of every student’s world, educational institutions have been reluctant to embrace the use of these technologies in the classroom.
This session will highlight the creative use of mobile devices in the health and wellness college setting. We will discuss ways to utilize devices for real-time feedback through text message backchannels, applications (apps), polling, and data-gathering. Benefits and drawbacks for using mobile technology will be discussed. Computers are not provided/required for this session, but attendees may bring their own devices (wireless internet available for $14.95).
