This session will outline the results of a Pan-Canadian study that examined the present circumstances of physical education curriculum by analyzing the mandated time requirements, curricular goals, organizers, and learning outcomes in K–12 PE. This presentation will be of interest to researchers, teachers, and curriculum experts as it provides insight for those who write, implement, and experience these curricula. Results presented will include key themes, trends and implications for future PE curriculum reform efforts.
