As financial resources diminish and costs of land acquisition increase, partnerships for shared use of community facilities has received growing attention. School facilities are a valuable community resource for providing physical activity opportunities. Although shared use is not a new concept, its resurgence as an efficient and effective way to deliver physical activity opportunities comes at a critical time. This session will present data from a multi-year study and share strategies from successful case studies.
