This session is for all audiences interested in the significance of disability sports. There is an abundance of information regarding the benefits of sport participation for student populations, research examining the benefits of sport experiences for students with physical disabilities is limited. This session will describe research outcomes demonstrating the importance of sport participation for students with physical disabilities and why disability sport can be referred to as the "Title IX of the new millennium".
