Physical activities that enhance MVPA while supporting Common Core standards! Durham Public Schools Elementary physical educators will share the best activities and teaching strategies that grew out of a year-long project. The project focused on creating quality physical education lessons that support the DPS elementary Literacy initiative. We will describe how the project developed and will lead participants through literacy-themed physical activities that were shared or created within our project. Come prepared to participate.
