Thursday, April 25, 2013: 8:45 AM-10:00 AM
Convention Center: 217BC
Speaker: Terri Drain, Vintage Hills Elementary School, Danville, CA
Our discipline is under attack. Huge class sizes and the elimination of programs is our new reality. The purpose of this session is to provide K-12 physical educators with tools and strategies they can use to promote and advocate for their programs. A close look will be taken at the use of technology and how to change perceptions so physical education is seen as an essential, and not optional, component of the school curriculum.
