Learn how to implement a nationally recognized Safe Routes to School Program in your district or school. Leaders and teachers can learn to increase the number of students traveling safely to/from school, decrease traffic and encourage a healthy lifestyle. We will provide you with information on a nationally proven program and state and district safety and wellness standards. In 2009, nearly 630 children were injured daily due to cycle-related crashes and approximately 47,000 non-fatal injuries among child cyclists were traffic-related.
