248 Developmentally Appropriate Resistance Training: Design, Implementation, and Assessment

Participants will learn how to a) take a resistance exercise (lower, core and upper body) from its root level (body resistance) and advance in a developmentally appropriate manner and b) evaluate student skill level (stability of support rubric) for readiness to either remain at one skill level or advance to another. Children and youth are all different shapes and sizes and can all enjoy resistance training.
