Physical education is political from your campus to Capitol Hill. Physical educators need to be tuned in to the importance of politics in their lives. NASPE annually hosts SPEAK OUT! Day, inviting physical educators from across the nation to encourage their legislators to support physical education. This presentation will describe how a group of university students traveled with their professor to Washington for SPEAK OUT! Day, and discuss legislation that NASPE would have us support.
