Learn innovative best practices for dance programs at all levels. This session will provide information on: (1) designing a curriculum for creative dance, (2) implementing dance performance assessments for student success, (3) how 21st century learning impacts dance education, (4) how a dance science program can incorporate a capstone project for undergraduate students, and (5) “Learning by doing”, dance teacher preparation through service learning. Each of these informative sessions is 50 minutes.
