310 Understanding Head Injuries: Do Your Students and Athletes Know Enough?

Concussion injuries have been in the spotlight recently at all levels of sport. There has been significant scrutiny of policies and practices related to head injuries that have addressed proper safeguards for participants, emergency response, care, and return to play guidelines and practices. This session will address what coaches and teachers should know in addition to how they should help ensure that parents and participants provide an environment that keeps athletes safe.
