Spend a wonderful afternoon with NAGWS members and friends while we present this year's Guiding Women in Sport award to Teena Murray, Director of Sports Performance at the University of Louisville and trainer for the Women's U.S. Ice Hockey Team. Established in 1987, The Guiding Woman Award is given in recognition of the extraordinary service and leadership in female sports and acknowledges someone with a pioneering spirit and commitment to improve women in sport. Previous awardees include, Julie Foudy, Christine Brennan, C. Vivian Stringer, Bernice Sandler and Lynette Woodward.
