As physical educators adopt the role of Director of Physical Activity (DPA), it is essential that physical education teacher education (PETE) programs integrate content associated with Comprehensive School Physical Activity Programs (CSPAP) and NASPE’s DPA certification program into teacher preparation curriculum. The purpose of this session is to first overview a CSPAP, discuss the role of the DPA, and share ideas for integrating these concepts into already crowded PETE curricula.
