Speaker: | Gerard Shaw, St. Francis College, Brooklyn, NY |
The importance of rubrics as an effective assessment tool to measure and document learning in physical education is well established. The purpose of this session is to provide effective teaching strategies to physical educators in schools and in PETE programs. Emphasis is placed on the process of learning how rubrics work, how to create them, and how to make use of them so that teachers and teacher candidates become proficient enough to administer them.
