Shulman (1986, 1987) described pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) as the interaction of pedagogy and content by the teacher in ways that make content understandable to learners. However, PCK has been described differently in many studies, leading to what several researchers have called the “fuzziness” of the construct. The aim of this presentation is to present findings from recent research on PCK that lead to a refined view of PCK.
