This session focuses on applying sport psychology principles in physical education. Attendees will learn about various psychological constructs (e.g., self-efficacy, motivation) and how they relate to physical activity. These theories will then be used to outline applied techniques which can be implemented by physical educators and coaches to increase the performance, participation, and satisfaction of their students/athletes. These tools can create a positive learning environment and promote greater lifelong appreciation of physical activity.
