This session will examine case studies, guidelines, logistics, and the benefits of a successful online PE program. Logistics include assessing fitness levels, meeting state standards, modeling proper technique, adapting to student needs, and evaluating performance—all in a virtual environment. In addition, we’ll demonstrate how to use Polar heart rate monitors and other technology to verify student activity. When implemented correctly, an online PE program can enable students to be healthy and active for life.
