Falls in older adults are a serious public health concern, with more than 33% of older adults falling yearly. Research has revealed that risk of falls increases when deficits in dynamic balance and/or gait are present. This session will present exercise program design and implementation strategies for balance improvement and gait enhancement that have been effective in peer-reviewed research. Participants will have hands-on opportunities to learn these techniques and apply them to their own practice.
