The purpose of this research tutorial is to present the essential elements of administering and scoring the Test of Gross Motor Development (2nd ed.; Ulrich, 2000) for specific use in research investigations involving motor behavior, development, pedagogy, & physical activity in children with and without disabilities. Ideas and strategies that have been used successfully in research will be presented and discussed with participants.
