110 Physical Literacy: Is It the Tie That Binds Us?

Individuals who are physically literate move with competence in a wide variety of physical activities that benefit the development of the whole person. This definition of Physical Literacy developed by Physical and Health Education Canada has been integrated into physical education curriculum across Canada. This presentation will focus on how the concept of physical literacy can facilitate a collaborative effort across sectors to support the development of healthy and active lives for children and youth.
