Geocaching is outdoor scavenger activity using satellites and a handheld Global Positioning System (GPS). Participants will first learn about the equipment, and teaching ideas will be introduced. Participants are invited to engage in an optional off-site geocaching activity on the historic Boston Freedom Trail. Comfortable walking shoes, water, and appropriate outdoor clothing are recommended. A limited number of GPS units will be available. Participants are responsible for their own cost of transportation on the “T” ($2).
