In light of the upcoming Paralympics, the focus of this presentation will be on the experience of Paralympic athletes past, present, and future as a way to broaden education horizons for all individuals. Paralympic sports offer unique opportunities for individuals with disabilities to train competitively within a range of host levels. What is the athlete experience? What types of supports are necessary? Speakers will include athletes in training for the Paralympics, coaches, and decorated Paralympians.
