Flexibility, core, and balance training are fitness components that inherently decline with age unless specifically and strategically addressed in physical activity programming. Current information and demonstrations for PA practitioners will focus on activities designed to enhance balance, core stability, and flexibility for adults age 50+. Elements that target improving physical performance capacities and movement confidence will be applied in ways that encourage physical activity participation and improved quality of life for older adults.
