The success and credibility of a profession is based on its ability to reach outcomes over a long period of time. This presentation will take a look at how the profession has changed constantly and how that has negatively impacted long term success. Pursuing outcomes that can be achieved through instruction and behavioral change is paramount to the issue of accountability. Physical activity and healthy eating are outcomes that can be achieved and physical education professionals should be leading the way. The time for long-term change is now.
