Participants will become familiar with the most common cooperative learning techniques used in the health education class in a pragmatic way. Examples include: think-pair-share, three-step interviews, round robin brainstorming, numbered heads, circle the sages, and jigsaw. This session will also demonstrate several learning activities and teaching strategies that will integrate and support diverse language and ability domains and demonstrate several language and vocabulary teaching strategies and leaning activities designed to improve students’ health-related vocabulary.
