As NAGWS and AAHPERD professionals in a variety of fields, we often plan and host special events related to Sports, Fitness, Wellness, Health Education, Physical Education, and Recreation. There is always a need for sponsorship dollars to offset the cost of hosting the event. This presentation will facilitate an understanding of corporate sponsorship objectives, contents of a sponsorship agreement, and segmentation of the women’s sport market. Finally, sport sponsorship utilizing “new media” will be examined.
