With more students being attracted to university sport management programs, challenges in developing programs have increased as well. Potential solutions to such challenges as student perceptions of sport management, sport management accreditation recognition, program development, unique presence in a home department, attracting and keeping faculty, relationships with sport industry will be presented in this two hour workshop. The presenters will include experienced coordinators of well-regarded university sport management programs, department chairs, and deans.
