Fraud, theft and embezzlement, oh my! Teachers and coaches have been charged with financial crimes at an alarming rate. However, most teachers and coaches receive very little training on preventing mismanagement of funds or how to appropriately handle money for organizations. Common mistakes in money handling will be reviewed by groups and shared. Attendees will also work in groups to examine and classify fiscally responsible procedures for collecting, disbursing and protecting organizational finances.
