This session will summarize the latest research findings on food behavior considerations, physical activity patterns, and body composition indices of school-aged Hispanic female adolescents, with an emphasis on those living in Puerto Rico. The literature indicates that Puerto Rican female's healthy lifestyles are seriously compromised. Recommendations will be provided for school and community settings to foster healthier lifestyles with Hispanic female adolescents, especially those living in Puerto Rico.
