HealthyME HealthyU assessed health information needs of four audiences (N >1,200); involved advisory groups to guide training; and prepared future professionals to serve individuals with disabilities. Results of the statewide assessment guided development of educational materials that address (a) health care facility accessibility, (b) patient-provider communication, (c) personal health management, and (d) sources of trustworthy health information. Six video modules were developed for consumers, families and professionals featuring health providers, students, and individuals with disabilities.
