This presentation is for teachers, principals, and community leaders alike. School gardens create opportunities for children and adults to learn more about nutrition, healthier food choices, physical activity achievement, and a deeper appreciation for the community–all healthy lifestyle behaviors that can last a lifetime. Attendees will learn the benefits of a school community garden, as well as how to implement one in their elementary, secondary or higher education environment while affecting school wide curriculum.
