The purpose of the Full of Ourselves PLUS (FOO+) program was to promote physical activity, body esteem, and healthy nutrition. Females (N=25) aged 11-15 years participated in a community-based intervention aimed to prevent both obesity and eating disorders. The goal of this session is to describe how two curricula (ie., Eat and Live Well; Utz et al., 2008 and Full of Ourselves; Steiner-Adair, 2002) were successfully combined to provide an integrative program for teenage girls.
