CORRECTION: This session was mistakenly posted online and in the convention program book as the Exercise Physiology Forum. SPORT AND EXERCISE PSYCHOLOGY FORUM DESCRIPTION: Our Sport Commitment research provides a natural integration of science and practice. First, commitment needs to be understood by all parties because it is so central to the sport experience. Second, the Collaborative Interview Method that will be presented achieves a deep understanding of an athlete’s commitment for either research or applied purposes. The interview can be used to develop any theory; or to understand what the athlete is thinking regarding any issue. NOTE: The Exercise Physiology Forum is actually Session No. 253 (Racial/Ethnic Differences: Implications for Health/Performance) scheduled on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 from 3:15 PM-5:15 PM in Convention Center Room 26A. We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion that this has caused.
