All physical education teacher educators are invited to come together to celebrate their profession. The luncheon will be followed by a ceremony honoring the PETE programs that were approved for national recognition in 2009 according to the NASPE Initial or Advanced PETE Standards. The PETE Honor Award will also be presented to Thomas McKenzie, San Diego State University. The luncheon will conclude with an address by Jackie Lund, Georgia State University.
