The Health Education Curriculum Analysis Tool (HECAT) is an assessment tool for examining school health education curricula - helps school districts conduct an analysis based on the National Health Education Standards and CDC’s Characteristics of Effective Health Education Curricula. Results help schools select/develop appropriate/effective health education curricula and improve the delivery of health education. It is customizable to meet local community needs and conform to the curriculum requirements.
