Women are traditionally underrepresented in administrative ranks. Women who become administrators may find themselves operating in an environment that supports a traditionally male model of governance. As a follow-up to last year’s panel discussion on transitioning from faculty to administrator, this year the panel of female administrators will discuss issues relevant to female faculty and administrators. Specifically we will discuss current research and our experiences with regards to negotiation, conflict resolution, and evaluation of faculty.
