The purpose of the presentation is to provide a framework for the systematic inclusion of motor learning in physical education lessons. It is important that physical educators plan and implement motor learning principles to maximize student learning and performance. The framework includes components for the analysis of the task, environment, learners, and application of concomitant motor learning theories. Included are self evaluation instruments for determining the use of motor learning principles in planning and instruction.
