PETE programs are charged with preparing physical educators who are able to teach content across all three learning domains as well as promote inclusive practices in PK-12 physical education programs. The extent to which PETE programs demonstrate such inclusive practices with the growing number physical education majors with disabilities is relatively unknown. This interactive session will discuss the pressing issue of meeting the needs of physical education majors with disabilities while preparing quality physical educators.
