Each year, faculty committees and administrators make recommendations for the appointment, advancement, and reward of faculty. The way annual reviews and decisions about tenure and promotion, and promotion are carried out varies based on type of institution (research vs. teaching). This presentation is based on the experiences of faculty and administrators from varying types of institutions and will include questions asked by a moderator and responses by the faculty/administrator panelists.
