Using the Presider to Enhance Presentations

The role of the conference presider is to facilitate the transition and delivery of various types of professional presentations. The type of the session may influence what the presider does to enhance the experience for the presenters and audience alike. This session will provide the participants with the basic responsibilities of a conference presider, discuss ideas on how the presider can assist the presenters, and explore ways to keep the audience engaged. Basic understanding of the responsibilities is necessary for the smooth delivery of topics that often loosely connected. The presider can assist the audience's understanding of the information and assist the presenters' ability to engage the audience by applying some basic principles.
